Gadgets
Whether you create a chart from the app Home page, a Jira dashboard, or a Jira project page, you can save it as a report, a gadget, or both. Reports and gadgets share the same chart configuration but differ in where they live and how they’re used.
Save a chart as a gadget if you want to visually compare multiple charts or if you are building a team or management dashboard.
Gadgets live on Jira dashboards. They allow you to monitor charts directly alongside other Jira widgets:
To save a chart as a gadget, build it using any available method, then click Save as gadget. Select an existing Jira dashboard where you have edit permissions, or type a name to create a new one.
You can save any existing report as a gadget or any gadget as a report back to the app.
