Export and import chart settings
You can export a chart’s configuration and import it into another chart to instantly recreate the same setup.
Exporting and importing settings is helpful when you want to:
Migrate charts from Jira Data Center to Cloud without having to rebuild them manually.
Recreate the same chart configuration for another team, dashboard, or project.
Share a ready-made configuration with colleagues so they can generate the same chart on their own dashboards.
How to export or import settings
Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the chart (1️⃣) and select Export > Chart settings (2️⃣) to download a JSON file with the chart configuration.
To apply the settings to another chart, open that chart, click the three dots, and choose Import settings (3️⃣).
Upload the previously exported JSON file. The chart will update instantly with the same configuration.
