Velocity Chart 7.1.0 release notes (March 19, 2026)

Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) support

new feature

CLOUD DC

You can now migrate your configured gadgets from Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.

Previously, when migrating Jira instances to Cloud, charts had to be recreated manually or using the chart settings export-import feature. Starting with this version, Velocity Charts support JCMA, allowing you to migrate your chart setups seamlessly as part of the standard Jira migration process.

How it works

  1. Install and configure JCMA in your Jira Data Center instance

  2. Run a migration that includes app data

  3. Velocity Charts configurations are automatically transferred to Jira Cloud

  4. Open your dashboards in Cloud to access migrated charts

Stability and usability improvements

Bugfix

  • Fixed issues with empty sprint lists, deleted estimation fields, and inconsistent data loading

  • Improved chart visibility on smaller screens

  • Enhanced browser compatibility across newer versions
