Imagine you want to track the cycle from the moment engineers begin working on an issue ("In Progress" status) to the last time they hand it off to QA ("Ready for Test" status) to assess the Engineering team’s SLA.

Now, you can accomplish this by using custom statuses for "In Progress" (1) and "Done" (2), along with tailored timer settings:

If an issue was completed during the selected interval but was never in progress, it will appear in the issue list on the chart with a “-” in place of the metric value:

Regardless of the chart type, the calculation scope remains consistent, enabling you to view the exact data from various perspectives:
