Versions hierarchy can be enabled for all Jira projects or for selected projects only. In global app settings Jira administrator can:

  • enable/disable Versions hierarchy feature for all or selected projects

  • show/hide Versions hierarchy link in project navigation and project settings sections

Enable Versions hierarchy for projects

Each extension can be enabled or disabled individually on a project basis.

You can select projects for which a particular extension will be enabled or disabled.

When Versions hierarchy is disabled for selected projects it is enabled for all other projects in Jira.


Links visibility in project

You can control show or hide the Versions hierarchy link in Project navigation and Project settings.

By default, links are displayed in both places.

Links visibility are applied to all Jira projects.
