If you’re not the gadget owner or don’t have permission to edit the gadget, Cycle Time Chart allows you to personalize your view using User Preferences. This feature lets you customize what you see on the chart without altering the basic settings predefined by the gadget owner.

How to manage:

  • Adjust which breakdown segments you want to focus on, ensuring you see the data most relevant to you.

  • Manage and rearrange columns in the issue list to tailor the data display to your needs.

  • Sort the issues in the Issue list by the needed column without breaking the origin view.

  • The settings you apply will be saved and will remain the same each time you revisit the dashboard, maintaining your personalized view.

  • If user preferences are applied, the buttons for breakdown segments and columns will be highlighted, indicating that you’re viewing a personalized state.

  • You can reset your preferences at any time, reverting the chart to the original settings defined by the gadget owner.

Exception: as the gadget owner, any changes you make to breakdown segments or issue list columns are saved as the basic settings, which apply to everyone who views the chart.

This feature ensures that every user can customize their experience without affecting the overall setup, offering flexibility while maintaining consistency for the team.
